Baggage Inspector… a job title that speaks excitement! Passion! Adventure! Or… maybe not. Ok. Definitely not. Can you imagine a less exciting job, than standing at a conveyor belt, taking suitcase after suitcase, fiddling with their locks, opening, closing, pulling them through the computer scanner, dragging them to the correct dispatch gate… oh, and discovering drugs, firearms, and… wait, are those explosives? What do you mean, they’re primed to go off? Is that an active countdown timer?!
In Baggage Inspector, you put on the gloves of a brand new inspector, commencing training at the futuristic Interplanetary Transfer Station, where you will control the flow of traffic between Earth and the mining colonies on the Outer Planets. But before you even begin this assignment, you must first learn on the job. And what better way to learn, than… in a virtual reality simulated scenario? Step into VR-within-VR, where you will train by checking bags for the oppressive regime of Redlandia, where nothing is what it seems.
Had fun with all those simulator games? We did too! But there was something missing, something we couldn’t put our fingers on… yes, that’s it! Hands! Baggage Inspector is the next step in your VR journey: use your controllers as gloves, grab things by wrapping your virtual fingers around them, and… be careful, that’s a heavy case! Use both hands at once. With Baggage Inspector, you can train yourself for more advanced VR titles.
Think suitcases are all the same? Think again! You will open a variety of different locks, from ordinary button-operated ones, through zippers, and keycode locks. Then there’s those cases that just won’t open without the help of your trusty knife. And those filled with concealed bio-contaminants you just won’t detect without your Sniffer Tool. Did we mention some concealed items will only reveal themselves on the x-ray scanner? Let’s not even mention the Spray Tool. Expensive bags, precious contents, and spray paint – what could go wrong?
Not ready for VR? No problem! Baggage inspector allows you to also play on a traditional flatscreen, using mouse and keyboard.
No two bags are ever alike, and no day’s job is ever the same, resulting in an ever-changing story. Play as much as you like!
